Lessons of 2014

* I have no clue what I am doing with my life. Then again, to this day, I haven't met anyone who does.

* The ability to love your job and to work hard consistently, is a source of indescribable amount of satisfaction. * No matter how petty or great a fear is, it can be overcome.

* "What is the worse that can happen?!" can happen.

* And that you shall still survive through it.

* Nothing can supersede the importance of a family. Regardless of how you think of them individually or wound up together, you will feel differently about them when their well being is at stake.

* While you, yourself are stuck on the ladder of life, the least you can do is help others move up.

* Finally learnt to say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"!!! And saying it does make you feel good.

* People respect you for what you do, not what you say.

* A job is not worth selling your soul for.

* Even though you are the same person, your value in the world would vary based on the need of the hour.

* Before you set out to love someone else, you must muster the courage to love yourself.

* It may be better to have a rare complex disease with a cure; rather than a common disorder with no specific remedy.

* You shouldn't listen to the same song 573 times over and over again, unless you want to hate it.

* Life doesn't seem as atrocious if your mind, body and soul are in harmony. Embracing life as it comes is the most resilient way to survive it.

* Contrary to what I thought, I may not be able to agree marrying someone I do not love. Its equivalent to shopping for a ditch and willingly agreeing to jump into it. I believe it is better to blindfold yourself with 'Love' and pretend 'falling' into it.

* Baking is the sweetest therapy.

* Sometimes having a friend who can sit with you and stare at the stars, is better than sitting by yourself and staring at the stars. Sometimes.

* Witnessing the magic of maestros perform is a phenomenal spiritual experience.

* Hitting rock bottom isn't as terrifying as the minutes you spend there.

* The generous may go to bed hungry, but they sleep better.

* Remember your deeds, only the bad ones. Undo them and move on. There will come a point when you won't remember a thing you have done. Others, however, would.
